A Little About Me!
My name is Mrs. Jenny Bobo. I am the 6th thru 9th Grade teacher for Stillwater Pioneer Virtual Academy. I have worked at Stillwater Public Schools for 12 years, this will be my 13th year. I have taught a total of 16 years as a secondary educator. I love what I do. I am at heart a Science teacher, and every year I look forward to instilling a love of science within every student that walks through my doors.
I have a sincere love for Science and Science Education. I am currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Science Education. I served on the writing committee for the new Science standards for the State of Oklahoma. I am also previously was the Chair of the State Textbook Committee. We had the big job of selecting the textbooks to be utilized in the state’s science classrooms. In addition, I have been a mentor for other Science and Math Educators within the OkMath/ OkSci Leadership Program. I am very passionate about Science, Science Education, and the education of our youth. In addition, I have served on the Oklahoma Science Teachers' Association Board.
